History of The Austin Chapter of The American Harp Society
The Austin Chapter of the American Harp Society was founded in 1987 and over almost 40 years has brought together harpists in the Austin, TX area for education, networking, performances and appreciation of the harp.
What is The American Harp Society?
The American Harp Society (AHS) was founded in 1962 to promote the harp and support harpists in their artistic and educational endeavors. AHS aims to elevate the standard of harp playing and expand the harp's presence in various musical settings.
Mission: The AHS's mission includes:
